C&C Creations
Helping our Community

For the past few years we @ C&C Creations have tried to help local organizations that we feel are  making an impact on our community, no matter how big or small.  Below you will find information and links to the causes we are most passionate about.  As most of you know we are a small business, but we are huge on heart.

After careful consideration Cindy & I decided to make Bert's Big Adventure our 2008 cause.  I am a loyal Bert Show listener and have been following the show when they talk about these trips for the past few years.  It has touched my heart and we wanted to do something for these brave children.  So what we decided was that C&C Creations would donate a Lap Tray for each of the Children participating in The 2008 Bert's Big Adventure Disney World Trip.  This is a wonderful opportunity for these families, I only wish we could have done more!

"Bert's Big Adventure is a special trip designed to provide families a magical weekend at Walt Disney World. These families have children, aged 5 to 12, who are experiencing a chronic or terminal illness, live in the Bert Show listening area and have a proven financial need.

This trip is much more than the experience of hugs from Mickey, awe-inspiring shows or the honor of being Grand Marshals in the Magic Kingdom Main Street Parade. It is the opportunity to provide these families the gift of time together; a chance to escape hospitals, protocols, intense scheduling and difficult daily challenges. At its very core, Bert's Big Adventure offers these families time to create a legacy of memories in "The Happiest Place on Earth."

Bert's Big Adventure is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization.

Friends Helping Friends
This is another cause that is very close to our hearts.  We have met these girls and their families and they have touched our hearts deeply.
This is the Bulletin Board that we made as door prizes for one of their events.

"What happens when you team  a group of fabulous kids suffering from Childhood Cancer up with an ice cream  franchise?
An awakening happens!
Terry Milling (10  years old), Erin Streeter (10 years old), Faith Grantham (9 years old) and
Arianna White (8 years old) are all business partners in the Friends Helping  Friends events held every 4th Saturday
at Bruster’s on Jodeco Road  in McDonough, GA.  The Bruster’s lot is  transformed from an ice cream store to a complete
carnival atmosphere to draw  attention from all parts of the county.
Many are unaware that  Childhood Cancer is the leading cause of death in children in the United States
With lack of awareness comes lack of fundin and lack of funding leads to little research and support for the children.
The Friends Helping Friends mission is to bring hope and raise funds for the many children suffering from Cancer,
especially to those in the Southern Crescent of Metro Atlanta."
